There are moments in our work that are not easy. As an insurance brokerage company, Bromar encounters a wide range of situations on a daily basis, and among the most challenging are those involving the reporting of an insured event under a personal accident insurance policy resulting in a fatal outcome.

Claim Settlement Details

Our client, S A.D., arranged a personal accident insurance policy for its employees. Under this policy, the risk of death due to an accident was insured in the amount of €5,400.00. Unfortunately, while performing work-related duties at the aforementioned railway company, a fatal accident occurred involving one of the employees, which required the activation of the insurance policy.

  • First Step: The insured event occurred on October 9, 2024. With Bromar’s professional assistance, the claim was properly submitted on October 23, 2024.
  • Second Step: On December 11, 2024, Uniqa Insurance issued a formal decision approving the claim and paying compensation in the full amount of €5,400.00, which represents the maximum amount stipulated under the policy.

Throughout the entire process, Bromar placed special emphasis on respecting all parties involved, providing maximum support and assistance to the family of the deceased during an exceptionally sensitive and difficult time.

Exercising Rights Under the Insurance Policy

Although no financial compensation can ever replace the loss of a loved one, Bromar Insurance Brokerage undertook all necessary actions to ensure that the family of the deceased insured individual fully exercised their rights under the applicable insurance policy. With the payment of the full insured amount of €5,400.00, the compensation claim was fully and successfully settled.
